House Rules

Arrivals and Departures


Check-in starts from 15:00hr; check-out ends at 11:00hr.
Late check-out after 11:00hr and before 15:00hr would incur an additional 50% of the prevailing rate; Late check-out after 15:00hr would incur an additional 100% of the prevailing rate. Early check-in (between 11:00hr and 15:00hr) is subjected to availability on the date of arrival. Early check-in (before 11:00hr, if there is such availability) would incur an additional 50% of the prevailing rate.




Age Restriction


You must be at least 18 years-old to stay in our hostel by yourself. Exceptions are given to family or group with young children of at least 4 years old, whom have booked an entire family or private room that do not share with other unrelated guests. The parents or guardians must also be able to ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all time, otherwise we may exercise our rights to eject such guests from the hostel if their behaviors are deemed inappropriate and any accommodation charges previously levied will not be refunded.




Identification


Identification proof such as passport and identity card or permit is required upon check-in, or whenever requested by the staff on duty or police officer. This is required to ensure the safety of our guests.




Indemnity


We regularly organize social and recreational activities for guests. These activities are voluntary and guests who participate in such activities cannot not seek any compensation from Wink Hostel Pte Ltd and/or Wink Downtown Pte Ltd for all and any injuries, damages and liabilities. We do not accept liability for the death, sickness or injury of any guest, or for loss, theft or damage to any guest's property however caused. It is your responsibility to ensure your belongings are secure at all times.




Guest Behaviour & Conduct


It is the responsibility of a guest to ensure that his/her behavior does not detrimentally affect the comfort and safety of other guests and visitors to the hostel. The Management has the right to eject such guests from the hostel if their behaviors are deemed inappropriate and any accommodation charges previously levied will not be refunded.




Non-Smoking Policy


We have a strict no-smoking policy within the hostel premise.We reservers the rights to compound and/or evict you from the hostel premise should you found smoking in the hostel premise. Any payment paid will not be refunded. If you need to smoke, you can do so at the street-level, outside the hostel.




Sharing of Bed


Sharing of pod or bed is strictly not allowed. We may exercise our rights to eject such guests from the hostel and any accommodation charges previously levied will not be refunded.




Special Requests and Preferences


We reserve the rights to assign the guest to a similar pod or room type if the booked pod(s)/room(s) are unavailable. We reserve the rights to grant any special requests (i.e. lower/upper pod, specific pod/room, early check-in/late-check-out, etc) based on current availability and feasibility.




Luggage Matters


Each paying guest is entitled to a maximum of 3 pieces of luggage for check-in. The total luggage size for each guest should not exceed 50cm x 50 cm x 100cm (height x width x depth). Any excess in number of luggage would be charged at SG$8/piece. Free luggage storage (before check-in and after check-out, up to 10pm the same day) may be offered as complementary service to you as our paying guest. However, Wink Management should not be held liable should the luggage be stolen or lost during our custody. Nonethless, any unclaimed luggage would be disposed of within 3 days should there be no person claiming ownership of the luggage. A proof of identification/authorisation is required to claim these luggage, and there would be S$8/pcs for every night storage of the luggage.




Food & Drinks Policy


We have a strict no food or drinks in the room policy (even if you have booked a private room). We reservers the rights to compound and/or evict you from the hostel premise should you found not adhering to this policy. Any payment paid will not be refunded. If you need to eat and drink, you can do so at our kitchen/pantry or lounge area.
