National Library of Singapore would like to share that they are currently have an ongoing exhibition titled On Paper: Singapore Before 1867 held at the National Library Building. The exhibition brings together materials from an under documented period of Singapore’s history and features over 150 paper-based artefacts from the National Library, National Archives of Singapore and overseas institutions.
Besides free admission to locals, PRs and tourists, it is also conveniently located in town at the Bugis/Bras Basah area.
The exhibition is rich in Singapore’s history, on par with the calibre of that from museums and we believe that it would appeal to travellers that would like to learn about Singapore’s history.
The exhibition write-up has been appended below and more information on the exhibition can be found here.
